The Cultural Initiatives Foundation
The Cultural Initiatives Foundation (also known as the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation) is a private charitable foundation started by Mikhail Prokhorov in 2004. Founded with the conviction that culture stimulates creativity, leads to a clearer understanding of social issues and can assist in their resolution, and is the most important resource in social and economic development, the organization's mission is to encourage and support cultural 
awareness and activities.
For the first two years of its existence, the Foundation operated in the Greater Norilsk area, but has since expanded its scope to include the whole of the Krasnoyarsk region.
