Philanthropic Activities
In addition to his major philanthropic endeavors listed below, Mikhail Prokhorov provides generous financial support to CSKA's (the Army Central Sporting Club's) basketball, hockey and football clubs, and is a member of the Supreme Council of the Sport Russia organisation.

Since 2004, the Cultural Initiatives Foundation has worked to modernize and stimulate the cultural and intellectual environment in the Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia.
